Service Description
PTS can deploy drones to an emergency or disaster to assist public safety agencies at little to no cost to the agency. (Each case will be handled on a case by case basis regarding cost) Using drones in emergency or disaster response offers several significant advantages that can greatly enhance the efficiency, safety, and speed of response efforts. Here's an overview of how drones can be utilized in such scenarios: 1. Rapid Assessment and Situational Awareness • Quick Deployment: Drones can be deployed quickly to assess the extent of damage and identify critical areas that need immediate attention. • Real-Time Data: Equipped with high-resolution cameras and sensors, drones provide real-time images and videos to emergency response teams, enabling them to make informed decisions swiftly. • Access to Hazardous Areas: Drones can access areas that are dangerous or difficult for human responders to reach, such as collapsed buildings, flooded regions, or areas with hazardous materials. 2. Search and Rescue Operations • Locating Survivors: Thermal imaging cameras on drones can detect body heat, helping to locate survivors trapped under debris or lost in remote areas. • Delivering Supplies: Drones can deliver essential supplies such as food, water, medicine, and first aid kits to isolated or hard-to-reach areas. 3. Damage Assessment and Monitoring • Infrastructure Inspection: Drones can inspect critical infrastructure (e.g., bridges, roads, power lines) to assess damage and identify necessary repairs. • Continuous Monitoring: They can provide continuous monitoring of evolving situations, such as rising floodwaters, wildfire spread, or volcanic activity, allowing for proactive measures. 4. Cancellation Policy
1. **Cancellation by Client:** - Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the scheduled session will receive a full refund. - Cancellations made 3-7 days before the session will incur a 50% cancellation fee. - Cancellations made less than 3 days before the session will not be eligible for a refund. 2. **Rescheduling:** - Clients may reschedule their session up to 3 days before the scheduled date without any penalty. - Rescheduling requests made less than 3 days before the session may incur a fee of 25% of the total booking cost. 3. **Cancellation by Provider:** - In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, TFRs, technical issues, or regulatory restrictions), clients will be offered an option to reschedule at no additional cost or receive a full refund. 4. **No-Show Policy:** - Clients who do not show up for their scheduled session without prior notification will not be eligible for a refund. 5. **Force Majeure:** - In the event of cancellations due to force majeure (natural disasters, government actions, etc.), clients will be offered an option to reschedule at no additional cost or receive a full refund. 6. **Refund Processing:** - Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation date.
